Afternoon Tea North Wales - Soughton Hall
It’s one of our favourite traditions… English Afternoon Tea North Wales. Introduced in 1840 by Anna, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. Afternoon tea quickly caught on amongst fashionable high society. Although rarely practiced in homes now, afternoon tea is still a tradition that takes some beating. From finger sandwiches to delicate pastries, scones with clotted cream and jam, and all washed down with hot tea (or a glass of bubbly if you’re feeling daring).
