Once a breakfast room for the bishops who once resided at Soughton, the South Parlour has been transformed into an elegant and intimate bridal prep room. This charming space invites you to spend those cherished moments with your closest friends, whether you’re busy preparing for your big day or opting to relaxover breakfast and champagne.. The South Parlour encapsulates the rich history of Soughton, creating a stylish atmosphere for the beginning of your wedding journey.

Soughton Hall is a Grade II* listed house, built in 1720 and remodelled in 1820 by its then incumbent, William John Bankes, who was an Egyptologist and friend of Lord Byron. Having travelled across North Africa and the Middle East, he was inspired by Islamic and Moorish design he had seen and commissioned Sir Charles Barry (who would later design the Houses of Parliament) to create a “showpiece” house.
