What does a typical day for wedding timings look like?

Wedding day timings are possibly one of the hardest things to plan, particularly if your wedding is the first ever large event that you have organised!

But do not worry that is what our expert team at Soughton Hall are here for!!

Whilst there is never a one size fits all template because timings change depending on ceremony times or what our couples want from their day, our events team at Soughton Hall are here to help and as a starting point we have formed a quick guide below to help:

12:30pm – Guest arrival

1:30pm – Ceremony

2:00pm – Drinks reception, canapés and photos!

4:00pm – Guests to be introduced into Wedding breakfast

4:20pm – Speeches

4:50pm – Wedding breakfast to be served

6:45pm – Room turns around

7:30pm – Evening reception

8:30pm – Cake cutting & first dance

9:30pm – Evening buffet

12:00am – Carriages
